What was the highlight of Gusti BnB by ZEN Rooms
Cheap but you get what you pay for
Room itself was clean and air con worked really well. Location is good across the road from a mrt lavender we used to get around all of Singapore and its cheap. Cheap rate for Dorm, best price we could find in Singapore.
The toilets on our floor (3rd floor) was in the same place as the showers so the toilet seat was always wet! It's common sense to shut the lid so thus does not happen when you shower but I guess people forget and it's more a nuisance for us ladies then men. The floor also got very wet too so my clothes were often soaked. There are also no shelving in the toilet so no where to put my clean clothes, towels and Toiletries etc. There is normally only one hook which is not enough to hold all my things and my clean clothes would fall then get soaked which was nice. Simple shelving would fix this problem as for the water issue I discovered there are seperate toilets and showers on the 2nd floor. But sometimes they can be all occupied. There also needs to be more Lockers, we had to use some on the floor below which was annoying. Not enough Lockers per amount of people in each room on the floors. There are automatic lights in the hallways and chillout/locked area that turn off every minute or so so you have to wave your hands to keep it on and no air con so we just hung out in our room. Breakfast is not worth waking up for bread and jam etc not even toasted. Disgusting sheets felt soft but looked stained. No towels. Location of hostel is hard to find, look for the sign above the door. It's next door to a pizza shop and the 7eleven and family mart is across the Rd, if you see that you are pretty much there. We looked around it so many times before we saw it.

Budget hostel, not the best experience.
Good location closely situated to the Lavender MRT. Clean facilities and comfy beds.
Really run-down. Only 2 toilets on my floor that also had showers in them. No ventilation in the shower/toilet rooms, nasty bugs and weird smells. The general feeling of the hostel was run-down and gloomy lighting as all the lights were timed and switched off if you did not move around. There are better alternatives in the area for the same budget. Breakfast was a joke, white bread and jam and a tea bag/coffee powder.

Good place just for sleep.
Good place just for sleep. Clean beds with good mattress.
Toast bread with jam or peanut butter... i would not call it a breakfast. Bathroom is clean overall ... BUT!! - NO SINGLE HOOK AND SHELF to put clothes, towels or smth else. Very inconvenient

Good location..bad atmosphere
Location. Receptionist was nice.
The atmosphere Only 2 toilets/showers Staff was playing loud music, sitting on the only sofa.. guests were sitting on the floor.
